Dylan has worked with groups ranging from vocal jazz\, (Cadence\, Hampton Avenue\, the Swingle Singers\, FreePlay Duo\, The Watch)\, to vocal pop (Retrocity\, the Nylons) to eclectic jazz and world music (Autorickshaw\, Ray Montford Group)\, to classical (Nathaniel Dett Chorale; Lara St John) to flat-out rock ‘n’ roll (Honeymoon Suite). He’s played stages across the world from his native Toronto\, to Stockholm\, Sweden\, to Calcutta\, India\, and his compositions and arrangements are performed across the world from Arnprior to Zurich. DESCRIPTION:This iconic rocker’s roots go back to the sixties as a founding member of Capitol Records’ group\, Edward Bear. After a span as a journey man session musician throughout the seventies\, Danny settled in to the club scene\, establishing a cult following as a genre bender in music and humor. \nA house band gig at Toronto’s famed Albert’s Hall led him to host his own nation-wide TV show\, Stormy Monday. Through the eighties\, Danny starred in CBC radio’s hit series the Hum Line. \nMost recently\, Danny Marks recorded two original music albums\, Guitarchaeology and True\, before paying tribute to Toronto’s R&B roots with Big Town Boy in 2005. \nDanny’s in his thirteenth year as the radio host of JAZZ.FM91’s Saturday night blues show\, bluz.fm. \nAs a child\, young Danny would lock himself in his room with a stack of 45’s\, an old Seabreeze record player\, and a fantasy of having his own radio show. More than a few years later this pre-pubescent propensity paid off.

He is a longtime member of Fraser/Daley with bassist Alec Fraser and is also proud to work with a variety of bands around Toronto including the Tom Waits Appreciation Congregation\, the Travellers and others. \nVirgil Scott has earned his living entertaining in Canada for over 50 years – “How many people can say that?” he says with a smile.\nHis entertainment career began in 1968 with his neighbourhood band\, “The Innocence Of Virgil Scott”.  His natural talent soon found recognition\, Virgil was opening for major Canadian recording acts across Southern Ontario.  During the same period\, he spent two years in the Music Program at Humber College\, as well as private vocal lessons under the mentorship of world renowned Rosemary Burns.\nThe resurgence of Motown and Rhythm & Blues in the 80’s propelled Virgil’s career\, as he became a mainstay headliner at nightclubs and casinos across Canada and the United States\, and to this day enjoys an extensive following.\nVirgil\, moreover\, has enjoyed an impressive theatrical career\, appearing in such productions as Bye Bye Birdie\, The Grinch Who Stole Christmas\, and the Toronto production of Hair.\nYou may recognize his voice from various jingles throughout the years\, such as Hostess Chips\, Diamond Cheese\, Molson\, Labatt’s\, The Bay\, and Sears.  In addition to his musical endeavours\, Virgil is also a member of the Child Find organization\, and has recently received official recognition as the authorized musical spokesperson for Child Find Ontario.  This is an honour he takes seriously\, hosting benefit concerts throughout the province year round.\nThe past eight years has found Virgil in the recording studio almost as much as on stage. Either with vocals on numerous CDs for other people\, or producing several CD’s\,  and was honoured to be a contributing Executive Producer on the CD  “AURORA”  for David Clayton Thomas.
