DESCRIPTION:Mike Ferolia began his career singing in bars and clubs in Kitchener and Toronto Ontario. Having had the pleasure of singing in bands with some of the best musicians in Canada\, his career progressed quickly. With as many as three weekly gigs at any time from 2006 to 2016\, Mike was able to hone a performance style that remains refreshingly engaging to this day. \nThe stage wasn’t Mike’s only domain. In the 2010s\, the booming Toronto session scene also embraced him as a vocalist and even occasionally\, a voice-over actor. Mike could be heard on the radio for years on the heels of commercials for Molson Canadian\, Swiss Chalet\, Mini Wheats\, Casino Rama & more. He can also be heard on Jesse Cook’s ‘Nomad’\, and Amy Sky’s ‘With This Kiss’ albums as well as countless independent records as both a bassist & vocalist. \nIn the mid to late 2010s\, as the venues he frequented began to close (Joe Mama’s\, Bar Italia\, College Street Bar)\, Mike knew it was time for a change. By that time he had already begun honing a new skill\, the bass guitar. Under the influence of some of his musical heroes\, most notably\, Sting\, Mike found a new outlet and a fresh connection to music. From 2012 up to the present day\, he’s been able to transform his successful and widely diverse career primarily as a vocalist\, now working nearly exclusively as a vocalist/bassist. \n— \nMike Daley is a guitarist and singer based in Toronto. A professional musician for over 30 years\, Mike has toured Canada\, the United States and England and has recorded extensively in a variety of musical styles. He is a longtime member of Fraser/Daley with bassist Alec Fraser and is also proud to work with a variety of bands around Toronto including the Tom Waits Appreciation Congregation\, the Travellers and others. \n

DESCRIPTION:Ian Goodtimes and his projects have been a huge part of my businesses The Dakota Tavern and The Hayloft Dancehall. Ian and his Mercenaries held down the coveted Sunday night residency slot for 6 years. At the Hayloft he played every opening weekend and most of our long weekend special events. The reason is simply he is consistently the hardest working and most entertaining man I know. Ian is a community builder in a community that needs more leaders and gig bosses like him. His genuine love for performing and entertaining attracts some of the countries best musicians who all want to play on his stage. What that does for a venue is create a spectacle vibe at every show that is invaluable to the story of the venue. I’m proud to have been part of Ian’s story and grateful he is part of mine.

DESCRIPTION:Mike Daley is a guitarist and singer based in Toronto. A professional musician for over 35 years\, Mike has toured and recorded with Jeff Healey\, Classic Albums Live\, the Killjoys\, Nine Big Dogs and many more. Mike is a longtime member of Fraser/Daley and he holds the position of Assistant Music Director at Church of the Redeemer in Toronto. Mike’s lecture-concerts in Toronto and Richmond Hill under the name ‘Dr. Mike Daley Presents’ regularly attract sellout audiences. For more information\, go to mikedaleymusic.com. \nBorn and still residing in Streetsville (Mississauga)\, Ontario\, Wendell became fixated on being a guitar player after hearing Chet Atkins play the instrument. Although he took several years of formal guitar lessons\, Wendell was off-and-running as a guitar player\, fueled more by listening to and emulating the recordings of some of his guitar idols: Chet Atkins\, Les Paul\, The Ventures and other guitar gods. Fast forward to 1998 and we find Wendell Ferguson releasing the first in what would be a series of solo albums\, mixing his guitar strengths with his off-the-cuff songwriting and his distinctive vocal styling. The first album\, “I Pick Therefore I Jam”\, was loaded with truly innovative work; not the least of which being a duet offering\, “If You’re Gonna Be A Cowboy”\, with Russell deCarle of Prairie Oyster fame – their effort earning a nomination for Collaboration of the Year at the 1999 CCMA Awards. Meanwhile Wendell’s guitar work was much in-demand\, and he was often called upon to tour in support of top-level Canadian artists\, including: Shania Twain\, George Fox\, Duane Steele\, Tommy Hunter\, Michelle Wright\, etc. Wendell Ferguson’s work has not gone unrewarded. He was nominated for a Juno Award (in 1995\, for Group of the Year with Coda The West) and he has been named the CCMA’s All-Star Band Guitar Player of the Year so many times that he is deemed no longer eligible. Wendell Ferguson was inducted into the Canadian Country Music Hall of Fame in 2014.

And because you are you\, you understand. Don’t you? \nOkay\, maybe we should try this again. Jerry Leger is a Toronto singer/songwriter\, and one of the best in the world\, as far as I’m concerned. If you haven’t heard him\, you have no right to be one of these people constantly moaning about how music was so much better when people actually played instruments\, blah\, blah\, blah. \nJerry loves Bob Dylan\, Neil Young and John Lennon. Sometimes it sounds as though all three are fighting for space in his songs. But those songs are his own\, the product of a natural born storyteller with a sense of rhythm that would make Little Richard’s big toe shoot up in his boot. \nJerry’s songs hit deep in your soul\, but he also often loves just making music with folks just to flex some of his old time rock and roll muscles\, and explore some of the paths his songwriting normally doesn’t take. That’s kinda where The Del Fi’s come in. \nIt’s rock and roll that we all care about right? I’m sure you wouldn’t still be reading this if you didn’t agree. So I guess that does make you a Del Fi. DESCRIPTION:This iconic rocker’s roots go back to the sixties as a founding member of Capitol Records’ group\, Edward Bear. After a span as a journey man session musician throughout the seventies\, Danny settled in to the club scene\, establishing a cult following as a genre bender in music and humor. \nA house band gig at Toronto’s famed Albert’s Hall led him to host his own nation-wide TV show\, Stormy Monday. Through the eighties\, Danny starred in CBC radio’s hit series the Hum Line. \nMost recently\, Danny Marks recorded two original music albums\, Guitarchaeology and True\, before paying tribute to Toronto’s R&B roots with Big Town Boy in 2005. \nDanny’s in his thirteenth year as the radio host of JAZZ.FM91’s Saturday night blues show\, bluz.fm. \nAs a child\, young Danny would lock himself in his room with a stack of 45’s\, an old Seabreeze record player\, and a fantasy of having his own radio show. More than a few years later this pre-pubescent propensity paid off.

Now only in her mid-twenties\, Samantha boasts an enviable career: having worked with industry legends such as Beau Dixon\, Russell de Carle\, and Lori Yates\, played countless festivals and concerts\, and released multiple singles—with a highly anticipated EP on the horizon. \nHer first big break came through the Children’s Miracle Network\, where she toured for a number of years as part of the show before her talents led her to taking part in the affiliated Patsy Cline tribute shows\, touring multiple cities to raise money for the charity. Her connection to Cline’s music was unmistakable\, and it wasn’t long before she became a staple at the annual Patsy Cline birthday concert\, shared the stage with Duff MacDonald for the Hank and Patsy hoedown show in Orillia\, and recorded demos of “Walking After Midnight” and “Crazy” for Heather Morgan in Toronto. \nAlongside these performances\, Samantha never stopped singing at gigs big and small. So far she has graced the stages of venues and events like the Showplace Performance Centre in Peterborough\, Hugh’s Room in Toronto\, and most notably\, the main stage of the Mariposa Folk Festival\, where local media gave her the title of “Mariposa Scene Stealer”. \nWhile mostly known for her love of old country\, her musical influences are broad\, ranging from Led Zeppelin\, Supertramp\, Frank Sinatra and Joni Mitchell to Loretta Lynn\, Bob Dylan\, and of course Patsy Cline. Nowhere are these influences more apparent than in her own written songs. \nSamantha’s songwriting process is deeply personal\, drawing from life experiences and her own emotions\, putting more of a focus on storytelling. At the age of 16\, she made her debut as a songwriter with the folk-rock-infused Western Horizon. With lilting vocals that flow like the wind\, the song’s words came to her while driving with her father in their home of Orillia. “I was driving with my dad\, talking about what kind of song I wanted to write\,” she explains. “At some point he looked at the western horizon we were driving past and said\, ‘Let’s start with that.’ After that the words for the song\, about my love of being in Orillia\, just flowed.”  \nOther songs include the touching Life Goes On\, about the death of a beloved family friend\, and One of These Days\, a honky-tonk style breakup song with the amazing line “One of these days you’ll call me back\, but all you’ll get is my voicemail track\,” and her latest\, a cover on Caroll Baker’s heartfelt song\, Picture My Love on You\, recorded with the star’s blessing. \nCurrently\, Samantha is working on an upcoming EP.  The four-track Second Decade is slated for a 2025 release and will be produced by recording the album in Peterborough with producer James McKenty. \nThe road to success is a long one\, but throughout the years Samantha Windover has proven time and time again that she’s willing to put in the miles. With a voice brought up by musical legends and songwriting that puts her heart out into the world\, her incredible talent and dedication to the musical craft has taken her a long way already. Where she goes from here\, only she knows.

Dylan has worked with groups ranging from vocal jazz\, (Cadence\, Hampton Avenue\, the Swingle Singers\, FreePlay Duo\, The Watch)\, to vocal pop (Retrocity\, the Nylons) to eclectic jazz and world music (Autorickshaw\, Ray Montford Group)\, to classical (Nathaniel Dett Chorale; Lara St John) to flat-out rock ‘n’ roll (Honeymoon Suite). He’s played stages across the world from his native Toronto\, to Stockholm\, Sweden\, to Calcutta\, India\, and his compositions and arrangements are performed across the world from Arnprior to Zurich. His book “A Cappella Arranging” (co-written with Deke Sharon) was published in 2013. \nMike Daley is a guitarist and singer based in Toronto. A professional musician for over 30 years\, Mike has toured Canada\, the United States and England and has recorded extensively in a variety of musical styles. He is a longtime member of Fraser/Daley with bassist Alec Fraser and is also proud to work with a variety of bands around Toronto including the Tom Waits Appreciation Congregation\, the Travellers and others. \n
